PTA Committees
Membership - Organize membership drives, issue membership cards, and keep an up-to-date membership list.
Newsletter -The PTA newsletter is published every six weeks and is posted on the school website.
Student Recognition - Supplies treats every six weeks for those students who achieve the A and AB honor roll and to those students who earn the Top Dog award from their teachers by showing good citizenship.
Arts in Education - Reflections program which show cases student’s talents in Fine Arts.
Hospitality/Teacher Appreciation. - Coordinates, hosts, and provides refreshments for many different events at Huffines. Also, organizes Teacher Appreciation week in May.
Spirit Wear - Designs and sells spirit wear through out the year.
Athletic Wear - Orders and sells PE uniforms for the students.
Socials - Plans and organizes dances and social events at Huffines.
Corporate Incentives – Working with corporations to earn cash back on purchases, percentage of sales fundraisers, and recycling programs.
School Wrap Packs - Orders and sells pre-packed school supplies for each grade level.
Volunteer Coordinator - Compiles and creates an email list to contact parents about volunteer needs at Huffines. Works with PTA and Huffines staff to help provide volunteer support at different events. Organizes volunteers to staff the copy room.
General Volunteer Events
Career Day, Geography Bee, Copy Room, Socials & Dances
Contributing refreshments, baked goods, and side dishes for events at Huffines.
Helping with different clubs and organizations at Huffines.
